Description: SCP-006 is a small, unassuming stone, resembling ordinary pebbles found in riverbeds. The object is approximately 10 cm in diameter and exhibits a smooth surface with a dark green coloration. When ingested, SCP-006 induces a state of heightened metabolism in the organism, resulting in rapid healing of wounds, the regeneration of damaged tissue, and a complete recovery from any illness or injury sustained prior to ingestion.
The effects of SCP-006 are significant; subjects have reported recovery from life-threatening conditions within minutes of consumption, including partial paralysis, significant blood loss, and minor fractures. However, these effects are not permanent; subjects begin to lose the benefits of SCP-006 after approximately 48 hours, returning to their original state unless reintegrated with the SCP.
Testing has revealed that SCP-006 has no adverse side effects on human subjects, though it is believed that multiple ingestions over time may lead to an imbalance in bodily functions. Extended studies are ongoing to ascertain long-term effects and the full range of SCP-006's capabilities.
