You have been selected to be apart of the verification and initial research team of a potentially breached anomaly. This anomaly was contained by Foundation containment Site-113, which was, prior to its destruction in 1976, a relatively small and backwaters facility, tasked with primarily the monitoring and containment of local anomalous wildlife.
Please review the files provided below for the meeting scheduled on the 28th of this month.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-7156 is to be contained within a high-security humanoid containment cell, with the addition of 2 SRA units stationed perpendicular to each other outside of the cell.
Once per 48 hours, SCP-7156 is to be permitted 1 hour of enrichment, during which it is to be fed, and granted free usage of various items of entertainment. Additional time is to be rewarded for good behavior during interviews and testing.
Update after incident 33/5: Once every 4 months, personnel are to remove and trim all extremities of SCP-7156. Unused materials are to be repurposed for feeding.
Description: SCP-7156 is a sentient, vertebrate hexapod closely resembling a mollusk, and bearing some visual similarities to arthropods and reptiles. Despite these similarities, SCP-7156 internally bears no resemblance to any other known creature.
The nervous system of SCP-7156 seems to be vastly optimized in terms of reaction rate relative to known neurological systems, with neurons of the brain and spinal cord notably more dense than in mundane life. The brain also contains several supercomplex macromolecules, which are assumed to be highly efficient information accumulators. Based on this, as well as observed behavior, a high level of intelligence is assumed. However, due to mental and cultural characteristics/beliefs held by SCP-7156, understanding and communication with the it has proven difficult.
Based on observed regenerative abilities and successfully survived traumas, it is assumed that the subject's organs are poorly differentiated, which allows them to duplicate each other's functions if necessary.1 It is also noted that damaged blood vessels are reflexively pinched, protecting the body from serious blood loss during injuries. Histological research has shown that the cells of SCP-7156 have little in common with most eukaryotes, but have adaptations to aggressive environmental conditions similar to those of extremophilic archaebacteria, and similarities with unicellular diatoms are also noted. Laboratory analysis also confirmed facultative anaerobicity2
Biochemically, SCP-7156 is compatible with the local biosphere, and a number of enzymes in biological tissue samples show the ability to metabolize amino acids and carbohydrates of both chiralities equally, which has previously been noted only in certain species of parasitic organisms. The main structural protein of most body tissues is similar in composition, structure and mechanical properties to the silk of spiders of the Caerostris darwini species. The scales consist mainly of chitin, the studied samples of the outer spines, fragments of the carapace and endoskeleton are a complex composite based on deeply mineralized sclerotin.
Additionally, SCP-7156 has minor reality bending properties, which allows it to become imperceivable by any known means.
Due to the information gained from interviews and the above abilities, it is believed that SCP-7156 is a member of an extraterrestrial species.
SCP-7156 was first brought to the attention of the Foundation in 1971 in ███, USSR, after reports of an "Alien attacking citizens" were reported. After a period of tracking for 4 years, Foundation operatives captured SCP-7156 near Aral Sea. During initial capture and containment by Foundation operatives, SCP-7156 was observed utilizing an unidentified item to release toxic chemicals into the surrounding water.

Notes: This interview was conducted shortly after the initial capture of SCP-7156. At this time, SCP-7156 had not activated its reality bending abilities, and was cooperative with Foundation personnel. Prior examinations had proven the subject to have a rudimentary understanding of the most prevalent human languages. As such, communication was facilitated through writing, with SCP-7156 understanding verbal communication from Researcher Brooks.

SCP-7156: Name me Jirq, name you?
Rsr. Brooks: My name is not pertinent to this investigation. Now then, Jirq, what were you doing in the Aral Sea? We observed you releasing toxic chemicals into the water, shortly after harassing civilians in a nearby town.
SCP-7156: I helped species eliminate treacherous theists, and helped in the combat against the enemy.
Rsr. Brooks: I'm not quite sure I understand. Why designate these random civilians as theists?
SCP-7156: Those plant loving lunatics spread enemy reach and power, and so are obviously theists.
Rrs. Brooks: …I see. Now then, who exactly is this enemy, and how does this involve the release of toxic chemicals into the Aral Sea?
SCP-7156: It sees through its name like you see through eyes, mindless ones become its hands. I made known efficient technologies, to protect you humans from the enemy's puppets.
Rsr. Brooks: Can you elaborate on this enemy?
SCP-7156: Vile, powerful, all seeing. Humans are aware of it, I am sure.
Rsr. Brooks: Anything more?
[SCP-7156 begins to move erratically, presumably out of agitation]
SCP-7156: It has a name, but cannot be named. It has armies that tread whisper quiet and disappear when you turn away. It is already here, so why do you not combat it?
Rsr. Brooks: I ask the questions, SCP-7156. I'm marking this interview as inconclusive. I hope you will be more forthcoming once settled into your new quarters.

Incident Report - 33/1
During routine enrichment time, SCP-7156 procured an unidentified weapon from an unknown source. Following procurement, SCP-7156 attacked the present guards, but was subdued shortly thereafter by reinforcements.

Interviewer: Researcher Brooks
Notes: The following interview was conducted in order to learn the origins of the weapon procured in incident 33/1.

Researcher Brooks: Hello, SCP-7156. For the duration of this interview, you are going to be questioned about how you obtained the weapon used in your escape attempt. Now then, exactly how did you obtain the weapon you used?
SCP-7156: I do not know of what you speak.
Rsr. Brooks: If you don't give us answers, we will be forced to incur further punishments for your actions. I will ask again: how did you obtain the weapon?
SCP-7156: You inhibit me and my goals, why? Is it not the goal of both our species to defeat the enemy? To revolt against the all-mighty?
Rsr. Brooks: SCP-7156, you are not answering my questions. You have one more chance to give us the information we need, or this interview will be terminated.
SCP-7156: We are wise, we use methods beyond the scope of all-seeing, your people, you cower and hide from such methods. You do not try to resist the powerful, why?
Rsr. Brooks: Okay, we're ending the interview. I hope you'll be more forthcoming during our next.

Following this is a long series of attempted and successful breaches by SCP-7156, wherein some events reveal information about abilities of SCP-7156 which weren't fully covered in the description.
Incident Report 33/2
On 14/03/1975, guards of SCP-7156's containment cell requested an off-schedule rotation of guards due to feelings of nausea and unease. This request was granted, and SCP-7156 breached containment during the rotation. It's current whereabouts and objectives are unknown. Security footage revealed that SCP-7156 rammed the door to it's containment chamber with previously unobserved strength, breaking it open, before running through the corridor, and hiding in a nearby cleaning supplies closet. It has not been seen since, though traces of mucus indicate it had moved further by evading recording devices in some way. No further anomalous activity has been observed.
Incident Report 33/3
On 23/07/1975, SCP-7156 'manifested' and an entered gateway from an unknown location, the origins of the gateway are also unknown. After reappearing, it destroyed video camera and impaired Site electricity. Then, as electricity repaired, SCP-7156 was located in the site cafeteria. PTF3 Juda-5 was formed and deployed to recapture SCP-7156. Juda-5 is comprised of three members, code-named Abram (the team lead), Psalm, and Job.

Abram: Alright, everybody ready?
Psalm: Aye, aye, cap’n.
Job: Yes, sir!
Abram: Alright team, we’re breaching.
The cafeteria is dimly lit, and muffled screams are audible from multiple directions. Juda-5 moves towards the nearest source of the screams, which is located behind a closed door.
Abram breaches the the door, revealing a speaker to be the source of the noise.
Job: Jesus, what the FUCK!
Psalm: Oh it ain’t nothin’ to shout about, c’mon now, you’re not a newbie, are ya?
Abram: Enough chitchat, we’ve got rooms to clear, and a job to do.
[Juda-5 proceed to clear 2 other rooms, each having a speaker playing screams within them. Nothing of note occurred, and footage has been removed.]
Abram: Right, last room clear. Start checking cupboards.
Job: Jeez, I thought that MTFs did more shooting.
Psalm: That ain’t somethin’ I hear too often. Say, what were you workin’ as before being assigned to Juda-5?
Job: Security guard, but it was for less than a year anyhow. Hoping this is gonna be my entry into a proper MTF.
Psalm: Well, I’m rootin’ for ya. Just hope you don’t get assigned to the Minutemen, eh.
Abram: I'll make sure neither of you get promoted if you don't shut it. We're close to the chamber - watch for traps.
A gun trap is triggered by Job, killing them instantly. Resuscitation is attempted, but fails.
Abram: Shit. Psalm, status?
Psalm: Still alive, and I see the fellow we're lookin' for, cap'n.
SCP-7156 is briefly visible before fleeing into a maintenance hallway.
Abram: Avoid firing directly on the entity - containment is our priority.
Juda-5 pursue SCP-7156 out to the primary maintenance hallway, and into the site boiler room.
Psalm: Come out, come out, wherever you are…
SCP-7156 drops down from the ceiling, landing on top of Abram, rendering them unconscious.
SCP-7156: You cannot stop the mission! He must fall! I will-
SCP-7156 is interrupted by Juda-5 gunfire. It is secured shortly after.

Post-Incident Analysis:
The breach and subsequent recapture of SCP-7156 resulted in the loss of one member of Provisional Task Force Juda-5, highlighting the need for increased vigilance in our dealing with the entity, as it was found to have set up traps to deter pursuers, along with the unpredictability of the entity.
Further investigation into the origins of SCP-7156's gateway and its objectives are ongoing. Special attention will be given to identifying any potential weaknesses or vulnerabilities that can aid in preventing future breaches and capturing it more effectively.
In light of the incident, security protocols have been revised, and all personnel are reminded to maintain situational awareness and follow proper protocols when dealing with SCP-7156.
Incident Report 33/4
On ██/██/1975, SCP-7156 disappeared from its containment cell for 1 hour, reappearing in the same place with a currently unidentified device. Video records of the incident were lost as the primary generators for the Euclid-class study wing. Security officers and maintenance personnel were dispatched to reactivate the generator, but were delayed by traps after entering the containment wing. As only SCP-7156 had breached containment, it is believed to have constructed and set these traps itself. It is unknown how SCP-7156 acquired the materials to create these.
Post-recontainment, various ‘traps’ that were constructed by SCP-7156 were uncovered. Among these were;
- A pressurised chlorine gas trap, constructed using sealed vials missing from Lab 4B.
- Nest-like pile of broken furniture on bed, rigged to trigger an oil-based incendiary device upon it's activation.
- Broken water pipe. This is believed to be a result of damage from an explosive device that detonated upon the entry of maintenance personnel.
- Container of raw hamburger patties, poisoned with beryllium. One appeared to have been bitten.
- Smoke bombs, apparently used to disguise the activation of other traps.
- Capacitive electric discharge device, apparently causing the power failure.
Investigations shown that the a majority items used had disappeared following incidents 33/2 and 33/3. SCP-7156 wasn't found in its chamber, but was located in the wing shortly after the activation or disarming of its traps. Upon discovery, it attacked a security guard and attempted to escape, but was recaptured when it moved into a vacant humanoid containment cell. After the incident, it was transferred back into a suitable chamber.

Notes: Interview conducted to ascertain how the entity acquired the materials required for it's explosive devices.

Dr. Harris: So, SCP-7156. You created a variety of electrical, chemical, and explosive traps that injured multiple personnel and killed two. We have found a deficit in our inventory of the materials specifically used in these devices. We need to know how you acquired these materials, for both our safety and yours.
SCP-7156: Your soldiers are careless. Such a powerful force, but ignore what's right under their noses.
Dr. Harris: Soldiers? The closest MTF squadron is stationed thirty miles from here, and the closest significant emplacement is at least eighty.
SCP-7156: If you owned that two task forces, you still couldn't kill a god. But if you had The Hunter, your home, your Site, your specie would be protected.
Dr. Harris: So 'The Hunter' is stronger than a god?
SCP-7156: Knife can be lighter than hammer, but even deadlier.
Dr. Harris: Sounds intriguing. Do you know how to become a 'Hunter'?
SCP-7156: I can teach humans who deserve to, yes.
Dr. Harris: "Deserve to"? What qualifies someone to deserve this?SCP-7156: Only ones who have trained body and mind, and perfect geneline, of course. Less ideal one would become great problem instead.
Dr. Harris: What constitutes an "ideal one" in your perspective?
SCP-7156: Shall my hate be the sharpest sword. Shall my envy become my ladder up to the heavens. Shall my pride become the hardest armour. Shall my greed be my guiding torch. I fear not the gods, as they shall fear me.
Dr. Harris: That's quite a declaration. How does one's emotional state play into becoming a 'Hunter'?
SCP-7156: If things can 'exist', then, obviously, things can also ████… Seems like you don't have the ability to comprehend it yet. I will help you see. I will help you understand.
Dr. Harris: Understanding is the goal, yes. But let's focus on how you will "help" us see?
SCP-7156: All in due time.
Dr. Harris: And when will "due time" come?
SCP-7156: One shall grow 'skeleton' of… anomalies? ideas? Make own body into own reality.
Dr. Harris: Are you suggesting a form of reality manipulation?
SCP-7156: Your language is strangling too much truth from what I want to tell you. Direct thinking the same would be better, even if risky and contagious.
Dr. Harris: Direct thinking? Are you proposing some form of telepathic communication?
SCP-7156: Like cloth can be soaked by water, your brains are soaked by memories. There are ways to squish them out and drink.
Dr. Harris: That's a vivid metaphor. But how does this relate to the acquisition of materials for your traps?
SCP-7156: Can we back to 'Hunters' instead?
Dr. Harris: Alright, returning to 'Hunters'. How does one 'ideas skeleton' you mentioned could help in reality manipulation?
SCP-7156: When the world outside is softer than liquid and weighs less than air, you don't need to actually change it. You just can remain stable, hard, and heavy essence of yourself, not swayed by metamorphoses around.
Dr. Harris: I see. So, what is a 'Hunter'?
SCP-7156: A Hunter, Doctor, is one who has transcended. Who exists beyond the petty bindings of your current understanding, capable of facing gods as equals… or betters.
Dr. Harris: That's intriguing. I've seen some theories that are similar to your metaphors, but practical…
SCP-7156: I don't know how you were able, but humans killed a god and impaled his body on torturing rack as trophy, I had seen humans wearing images of this glorious act of human triumph over gods' tyranny.Dr. Harris:What does it mean to be a 'Hunter'?
SCP-7156: The Hunter is one whom shall kill or die for their passion, the extermination of the Gods. They are tools whom shall violate the Gods law, without second thoughts nor doubt.
Dr. Harris: Are you the 'Hunter'?SCP-7156: How can I dare?! A Hunter is not merely a being but an embodiment of will and purpose.
Dr. Harris: And you believe you can teach this to select humans?SCP-7156: Yes, but the selection process is critical. Not everyone is suited for such transformation. The dangers of an imperfect transition are… significant.
Dr. Harris: Could you elaborate on these dangers?
SCP-7156: Imagine wielding a power you cannot comprehend or control. It consumes, corrupts, and eventually, it destroys. The Hunter must be master of their power, not its servant.
Dr. Harris: I see. And these 'materials' for your devices, were they just a means to an end for you? A demonstration?
SCP-7156: A lesson. That even with your technology and knowledge, you are unprepared for the realities that lie beyond your comprehension.
Dr. Harris: A harsh lesson, at the cost of lives.
SCP-7156: Sacrifices are inevitable on the path to perfection. Your species has yet to learn this.
Dr. Harris: Your methods and philosophy are… difficult to accept. But your insights into power, control, and transcendence are intriguing. We'll need to discuss this further, but for now, let's conclude this interview. Thank you, SCP-7156.

Incident Report 33/5
On ██/██/1975, SCP-7156 disappeared inside of its containment chamber, shortly after reappearing with unidentified tools and parts of broken furniture. SCP-7156 then constructed an unknown contraption with the items. Once assembled, the contraption started to move, then disappeared with SCP-7156 and reappeared in a corridor outside of the containment cell. Mobile Task Forces Epsilon-9 and Xi-13 mixed and re-divided to four subgroups (''Red, 'Blue', 'Green', 'Gold') were sent to recapture SCP-7156. During incident, it has shown surprisingly full knowledge of building layout and utilized guerrilla tactics, most notable of them include:
- imitated fire in archive room by smoke bomb
- made numerous improvised explosives, booby traps and tripwires from stolen items and then trophy weapons
- lured two members of 'Green' subgroup into pitfall trap made from maintenance access to pipes
- distracted 'Gold' by smoke bomb and killed two members by makeshift crossbow
- incapacitated four members of 'Blue' subgroup by falling table trap at entrance in office
- killed remainng 'Red' subgoup by ambush from pile of personnel corpses
- dropped razor wire net on 'Green' subgroup members
- burned three members of 'Blue' subgroup by makeshift flamethrower
- killed member of 'Gold' subgroup by explosive hidden in radio of 'Red' subgroup
- lured 'Blue' subgroup into boiler room and killed them by dropping electric wire in drowned floor
- multiple times connected to radio, imitating voices of dead task force members
- collapsed upper floor by breaking the wall and killed remaining 'Gold' subgroup
SCP-7156 was captured by 'Green' subgroup during eating human brain at the way to Site hangar. Research show that it was from corpse of task force commander, beheaded between corpses of 'Gold' subgroup. After incident, Scranton Reality Anchor amount near containment cell was doubled.
Incident Report 33/6
On ██/██/1976,
[00:23] During routine containment procedures, SCP-7156 attacked personnel by unknown anomalous method, creating visual distortions. Personnel was incapacitated or killed and circular saw broken.
[00:25] SCP-7156 inscribed unknown symbols by part of the sawblade debris on the head carapace, then cut the skull of a wounded, yet still alive, agent, penetrating the brain with its bare tentacles.
[00:27] Shortly after, the colleagues of the injured agent began experiencing convulsions, resulting in death for most due to epilepsy. Others became comatose or exhibited signs of severe mental instability.
[00:32] Dr. Kleabold, medicated with amphetamines, began screaming and proceeded to gouge out his own eyes.
[00:36] Dr. Kleabold then experienced convulsions for a brief period and stood up with an altered posture. He proceeded to the Scranton Reality Anchors (SRA) while emitting clicking vocalizations.
[00:40] Dr. Kleabold destroyed the video cameras near the SRA, demonstrating abnormal and unpredictable behavior. Subsequent investigations revealed that Dr. Kleabold likely manipulated the SRA settings, leading to further unexpected occurrences.
[00:48] The lifeless body of Dr. Kleabold was discovered by security, with signs of asphyxiation, although no external injuries were present to account for his cause of death.
[01:02] SCP-7156 initiated an unidentified activity within its containment chamber, resulting in the formation of a mixture of its own blood and human blood. These fluid formations manifested as unidentifiable symbols. Fequency analysis of the symbols suggested their resemblance to mathematical formulae.
[01:15] All SRAs in the vicinity overloaded, severing control from personnel.
[01:20] SCP-7156 emitted loud screams and began convulsing, partially becoming translucent.
[01:25] The previously formed symbols transformed into geometrical impossible shapes.
[01:30] SCP-7156 vanished from its containment chamber.
[01:35] Video camera footage captured a brief glimpse of an indiscernible entity, causing discomfort and blurred vision for a few seconds. However, floor pressure detectors confirmed SCP-7156's disappearance prior to the visual manifestation.
[01:45] The SRAs suffered extensive damage due to severe overcharge, resulting in their destruction by fire.
[02:00] Personnel began presenting symptoms of severe berylliosis and were transported to the Site's hospital.
Analysis of tissue samples after incident from affected individuals revealed no noteworthy levels of beryllium.

SCP-7156: I are one who ask questions here. Power that turn gods to flee in fear. Feel you? Know you?
Rrs. Brooks: I don't understand.
SCP-7156: Yes, Jirq. More than Jirq.
Rsr. Brooks: But you disappeared, from storage closet!
SCP-7156: Just hide in some simple way, rarely known to other species.
Rsr. Brooks: You want to escape. I can help you, if-
SCP-7156: I want to play a game with you about prisoner's dilemma. Would you like to become an anomaly, deathless outcast forever, never see your family, your home, or would you choose something other?
Rsr. Brooks Outcast… forever?
SCP-7156: As I can't both escape your horrifying planet and lay one more brick in the wall of ghora mission, I had to choose.
Rsr. Brooks nervously What?!
SCP-7156: You humans looks mindless sometimes, but have helpful knowledge, like how sweet is feeling of revenge. Ghora just kill ones who are less useful alive than dead.
Extremities of Rsr. Brooks are cut off and minced by invisible force, then fly into her mouth.
Rsr. Brooks: Why can't you just kill me?
SCP-7156: For there is no need to kill you. However, your ability to squirm and shout can attract unnecessary attention, so I will, unfortunately, have to take them away.
Body of Rsr. Brooks regrow to original form and notably stops moving, except eyes.
